Nicole Schneider-Kehne responds to the article “Der besondere Fall” from issue 01|2016. She notes that in Hesse an emergency physician is not allowed to issue an SAPV prescription; only a general practitioner, specialist or hospital may do so. From the perspective of an SAPV team, she would welcome a rule allowing emergency physicians to prescribe SAPV in order to prevent hospital admission or honor a patient’s wish to be cared for at home even in severe symptoms.

Susanne Beck writes to Dr. Cuno to express a very positive impression of the new magazine. She praises the visual design, texts, professionalism and above all the care and love evident in the project. The articles are described as accessible, accurate and sometimes moving, while text, images and advertising are perceived as harmonious.
