This section contains responses to COLUMBA issue 04|2016. The team of the children’s and youth hospice Balthasar in Olpe praises the magazine for well-prepared specialist contributions, varied topics and practical relevance. They especially value that the issue covers different areas of palliative care: nursing and medicine, paediatrics and geriatrics, children’s grief support and current specialist literature.

Another reader, a theologian, writes that dignified dying, healthy grief work and Palliative Care are close to her heart. She praises COLUMBA for managing the difficult balance between openly naming difficult subjects and treating delicate aspects sensitively.

A reader from Bamberg notes that she expected only information about accompaniment until death, but was pleasantly surprised that the magazine also addresses what comes “beyond death”, especially grief support for bereaved parents, star-child families, children and families.
