From the sale of Palliativ-Portal mugs, dove cushions with CD and the children’s book Max, sein Opa und Columba, the Palliativ-Portal generated another 500 euros and donated the amount to the German Children’s Palliative Foundation.
The article explains that the foundation was established in 2013 to respond to the great need in children’s hospice work and paediatric palliative care in Germany. It supports families and projects so that incurably ill children can spend their remaining life comprehensively cared for and in familiar surroundings.
